I’m borrowing this from Danni; she took this photo up in the wilds of northern Montana. Have yourself a little look-see.

I’m with Danni on this. Not sure what they mean. How is TOTAL clear-cut “management”?
Wouldn’t management require a few trees here-and-there?I can even see cutting 99% – but 100% clear is not what looks like management to me.
Private land, though. Whatever. Not how I would chose to do it if it was my land.
The sign is what seems to piss me off. Why even post the sign?
Okay – no complaining! I’m just perplexed and exasperated!

JeffO- You said, ‘How is TOTAL clear-cut “management”?’ Precisely the irony, JeffO! It seems to me like the company/ies have engaged themselves in a marketing stunt only believable by the stupidest of readers or the casual passerbys that don’t look too close.

It’s almost as if the person who put the sign there didn’t read it. Or maybe it’s meant to be ironic. There are a lot strange things on that road. . . (sadly though I don’t think it’s intentional).

That’s why I love living in the National Park! My husband calls it “our gated community”!! I enjoy that everything is wild and protected and I enjoy the rutting elk on my front lawn. It makes for good T.V. And the dog likes his fuzzy friends to bark at.
