Dearlordinheavenhavemercymiraclesdohappen, I’m a runner again!
I may not yet run far (How does 30 minutes sound?). I may not run fast (Yeah, let’s not go there.). But, I am a joyful runner again.
Thank you to all of you who have sent words of good cheer and other forms of support in these last months. And, thank you even more to those of you who had to put up with the live version of this cranky, injured runner.
Injury sucks, but it sure reminds you of the great gifts of mobility and good loved ones.

Oh, I am so happy for you! I actually have been thinking about you a lot and hoping the steroid injection wouldn't cause more harm. Anyway, can't wait to hear about your renewed life as a runner.

How exciting!!!
It was awesome to meet you at WS weekend. I hear you are doing the Banff thing this week. I am jealousjealousjealous. Have fun!! -
I don't have as noble an excuse as injury, but I too am just starting to try and get back with the running program after this past very inconsistent year of fitness. I've been thinking of you as the anniversary of our Cleveland adventure comes up…I spent the last week photographing a 340 mile kayak/canoe race on the Missouri and those folk (and their crews) had a LOT in common with the hunnert mile running crowd.
I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling better though and it sounds like you had a great little getaway there!
